My quick synopsis of tonight’s showing of Ready Player One Movie
All in all it was a good movie, good not great but I guess that was to be expected, I mean it’s great for the novel references and it’s great for all the Easter Egg hunting you can do I.E characters, maps and movie references (and unless you’re a hardcore gamer/horror geek who has fond memories of the 80’s, a lot of these will go over your head) but if your not into the above but still like your action Sci fi movies, this may seem like a less than inspiring watch and could leave you feeling confused and bored at times, having said that, there’s enough fun cgi action to soon grasp your attention and drag you back in to the story.
It’s not going to go down as one of Spielberg’s greatest but it was fun to watch.
